The initial deployment of Evolv Express® in 2024 will now be supplemented with Evolv eXpedite™, an advanced autonomous bag-screening system, aimed at improving entry operations.
Located in the L.A. LIVE entertainment district, Crypto.com Arena is one of the most active venues globally, hosting the Los Angeles Lakers, Kings, and Sparks. Managed by AEG, the arena accommodates over four million guests and hosts more than 200 events per year, including major sports games, concerts, and distinguished events like the GRAMMY Awards.
Weapons Detection Systems
Originally installed in 2024, the Evolv Express® system at Crypto.com Arena employs AI and sensor technology to detect concealed weapons, facilitating smooth visitor flow while accurately identifying potential threats.
The renewed agreement, facilitated by AEG Global Partnerships, introduces Evolv eXpedite at a specific entrance handling high-volume bag traffic. Additionally, Evolv will remain the "Official Fan Screening Partner," participating in various marketing initiatives with the arena.

Evolv Express uses advanced sensor technology and AI to detect concealed threats and identify the person and location of the potential threat — while allowing people to move through checkpoints at their natural walking pace.
The system is designed to screen visitors effectively while helping minimize congestion and disruptions to traffic flow at entry points. Under the new agreement, brokered by AEG Global Partnerships, Evolv eXpedite will also be deployed at a designated arena entrance where high-clutter bags are prevalent. Additionally, as part of the renewed agreement, Evolv will continue as the arena’s “Official Fan Screening Partner,” and the two organizations will collaborate on a variety of marketing initiatives.
