Dortronics will showcase its highly versatile and economical 4800 Series Intelligent Interlock Controllers at ISC West 2018 (Booth #1038). The 4800 Series fully integrated controller is a single-board solution for mantrap applications that offers easy installation without complex software for installers, and an affordable yet robust solution for end users. It can be configured in the field and accommodates up to five doors to increase security and reduce overall costs. Dortronics’ exhibit at ISC West will also highlight a new accessory product for contact relays, which further expands system design possibilities.

4800 Series Intelligent Interlock Controllers

A higher level of security can be achieved by interlocking multiple controlled doors,” said Bryan Sanderford, National Sales Manager, Dortronics Systems, Inc. “The 4800 Series also provides flexibility in door configuration, which saves time and resources.

Dortronics 4800 Series Intelligent Door Interlock Controllers feature twelve field assignable inputs and seventeen configurable relay outputs for various input/output configuration and added flexibility. The new auxiliary relay lock output accessory adds to this flexibility with up to five factory-installable accessory terminal blocks. When form C contacts are required for additional functionality, the auxiliary terminal boards can be specified on the purchase order and installed prior to shipment. These give the option of additional normally-open or normally-closed terminals with the 4800 Series controller.

LED Indicators And Adjustable Propped Door

Additional design features include a unique watchdog circuit that constantly monitors operation; LED indicators for input-output connection status; voltage spike and surge protection on all outputs; and adjustable propped door, panic release, and door unlock timers.
