The Retro3 door closers use the same dimensions and footprint as the widely used Briton 2003 range. This makes UNION’s Retro3 ideal for use on private and public sector retrofit projects where maintaining fire integrity, cost and ease of replacement can be an issue.

Offering easy installation, the door closers are non-handed & can be mounted on the hinge or non-hinge side of the door and, unlike competitor models, can be mounted in applications 1, 61 and 66 (parallel arm or push-side door mounted). This reduces the need for considerable planning and enables installers to complete jobs faster and ensure that fire compliance is upheld, even if the original product did not meet legislation, improving profitability and customer satisfaction.
The door closers have thermodynamic valves to accommodate temperature fluctuations and are fully adjustable to allow the door to be tailored for specific customer or site requirements.
