Sycuan Casino, one of the largest in California, has chosen to upgrade their aging security system to an IndigoVision IP Video Security Solution.
As the existing security system could no longer meet the requirements of a modern, large casino, Sycuan Casino embarked on building a state of the art security installation. The new system would also manage a total of 1,200 cameras, meaning only a select number of manufacturers were able to meet the demands of a system of this magnitude and technical stipulations.
Sycuan Casino carried out an extensive and rigorous formal evaluation process involving product testing and feature analysis against several high-end video security offerings. After concluding the tests it was clear that IndigoVision’s solution was unrivalled, delivering the best video quality at specified bit rates and giving operators smooth PTZ camera control through IndigoVision’s ultra-low PTZ latency technology. IndigoVision’s Control Center video management software was highly appraised for ease of navigation, rapid camera access and lighting fast evidence export.

Sycuan Casino opted to deploy a mixture of IndigoVision’s Enhanced HD IP cameras and Encoder hardware, meaning existing analog cameras could be retained, and minimizing project downtime. IndigoVision’s world-class compression technology in both cameras and encoders also gives stunning recorded evidence quality while reducing storage requirements. IndigoVision’s new and highly optimized NVR-AS 4000 Enterprise Recording hardware was also utilised, reducing storage footprint even further and freeing up essential rack space for other applications.
IndigoVision’s video security solutions have been deployed in over 55 casinos worldwide, including the M Resort Casino in Las Vegas, Bavarian State Government Casinos and the Enjoy Group of Casinos across Latin America.
