| Hytera partcipated in both the forum and exhibition sessions at the PMR Forum |
From October 4 to 5, the International Forum and Exhibition "Professional Mobile Radio Communications" (PMR Forum) was held in Moscow, Russia. Coming to its fifth year, the PMR Forum has become a pre-eminent event for the PMR industry, and key topics were addressed at the forum with delegates from professional radio operators, system integrators, vendors and end users, as well as representatives of governments, regulators and the media.
As one of the key PMR suppliers in the world, Hytera was present at the PMR Forum, participating in both the forum and exhibition sessions, and showcased tailored digital communications solutions for Russia.
As the digital migration is making inroads and the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics is approaching, this year’s PMR Forum attracted a large number of government and industry users, including Russian Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Emergency, Ministry of Defense, railway companies, Oil & Gas corporations, communications research institutions and many other agencies. The delegates showed great interests in the development and application of major digital standards, and had heated discussions on communication solutions for public safety, railway, energy, data transmission, GLONASS and security of Sochi Winter Olympics.
During the event, Mr. Evginiy, Hytera Sales Manager in Russia, delivered a speech on Hytera DMR digital solutions tailored for Russian market, focusing on the customized features such as GLONASS support, UI, encryption and API. “The communication demands in Russian market are largely diverse and require more tailored solutions. Hytera DMR solution, distinct by its analog-digital dual-mode operation, open protocol and higher cost efficiency, meets more varied requirements of end-users from different sectors.” added Mr. Evginiy.
