It may not yet be ratified, but Wavestore customers can be assured that they are working closely with other ONVIFProfile G developers to ensure they can pass on all the benefits of the specification that covers the storage, search, retrieval and playback of video on clients that support recording capabilities and on-board storage. ONVIF encompasses devices ranging from cameras and encoders to network video recorders (NVR) and client systems such as video management systems, building management and physical security information management (PSIM) solutions.
