| Axxon confirmed as EMEA market leader of open platform network video management software market |
Axxon's Intellect platform is commonly regarded as the most comprehensive and advanced open IP network video management system (VMS) in the market today. This IMS report shows that a significant and growing percentage of market revenues in 2008 flowed in the direction of open video management software away from proprietary solutions. IMS Research estimates that by 2013 open VMS will have nearly 90% of sales in the category due to the fact that ‘open platform solutions offer far superior functionality and scope for integration', IMS found.
