The British Security Industry Association (BSIA) is pleased to announce that its membership now includes all of the UK’s Top 10 security guarding companies, following the recent admission of The Shield Group Limited.

This latest addition now means that the BSIA represents the ten largest security guarding companies with a total 68.25% market share and a combined turnover of £2.2 billion, according to industry report, the Infologue.com Top 20 UK Companies in the Regulated Security Sector, which was last published at the end of 2012.

Trevor Elliott, the BSIA’s Director of Manpower and Membership Services, comments: “The fact that the BSIA now represents the security sector’s top ten guarding companies is testament to the Association’s continued ability to provide a valuable service and tangible return on investment to large corporates as well as SMEs. From lobbying on behalf of the industry to organising specialist events and seminars, the BSIA offers a wide range of demonstrable benefits, which continue to attract new members year after year.”
