To further increase reseller and end-customer satisfaction, Bosch Security Systems recently introduced the Modular Alarm Platform 5000 Certified Partner Concept. The program is set up to ensure high quality planning, installation and maintenance of the intrusion detection panel Modular Alarm Platform 5000. It consists of a computer-based class including a test and a two-day in-house training course which is mandatory in order to become a certified partner. All successful participants receive a graduation certificate.

During the course, which is free of charge, the attendees gain detailed insights from the product experts at Bosch headquarters. Once certified as an official partner, they are also supplied with first class technical support from an exclusive hotline. The Certified Partner Concept ensures that the quality expected from Bosch technology is matched by equally high standards of servicing – delivered by qualified and well-trained Bosch partners.

Initial training days have been running successfully since 2011. “We are very pleased with the positive feedback for the program,” says Gerhard Kugler, Product Marketing Manager of Bosch Security Systems. “System integrators from all over EMEA are highly interested in the scheme – 67 participants from 31 countries already took part. With its proven record of success we are proud that Bosch started the Partner Concept”.

Bosch offers its Modular Alarm Platform 5000 to certified partners only. Each of them must have at least one qualified employee who has participated in the Bosch Certified Partner Concept. In return, only certified partners have access to an exclusive extranet where they can download the latest software packages, technical information and other tools.

The Modular Alarm Platform 5000 is renowned for ease of operation with very intuitive touch screen user interfaces. It provides up to 1,500 inputs and 500 areas for up to 1,000 users. The open IP interface and a software development kit allow the customer to integrate it into any management software.
