SMC to represent OnSSI’s Ocularis intelligent IP video software in parts of Illinois and Indiana
Representative firm SMC will provide representation in selected areas of Illinois and Indiana

OnSSI, the market leader in open-architecture, intelligent IP video surveillance software, has named manufacturer's representative firm Security Products Marketing (SMC) to provide representation in selected areas of Illinois and Indiana.

Formed in January 2004 by Keith Pope, Chicago-based SMC has become one of the largest sales forces in the Midwest for their relationship-based sales and industry knowledge. SMC emphasises customer service and excellent product expertise and has a proven track record of sales growth and market gains. The addition of OnSSI's flagship Ocularis IP video surveillance and security platform delivers on SMC's pledge to work for manufacturers on the leading edge of technology to serve customer needs.

“Security Marketing Consultants has had great success in the IP Video marketplace and we are excited about the rare opportunity to partner with and represent the number 1 open VMS solution in the IP security industry,” said Keith Pope, President at SMC. “After representing other VMS platforms in the past, we feel Ocularis 3.5 offers the most advanced features available to the end-user and look forward to spreading the word to our territory!”

“SMC has a reputation as an effective and knowledgeable rep firm that markets the industry's best and most reputable manufacturers,” said Mulli Diamant, VP of Sales at OnSSI. “OnSSI is pleased to join that group and to work with SMC to meet the accelerating demand in the territory for intelligent, open-architecture video management software as more customers transition to IP systems.”
