 Renaissance for Urmet
Urmet's Atlantico door entry handsets have been installed in each of the fifty three luxury apartments
Renaissance, described by John Boys, a Director of developers B & E Boys as "the first high-specification quality residential development in Bolton," has been equipped with a door entry system manufactured by Urmet.

Urmet's Atlantico door entry handsets have been installed in each of the fifty three luxury apartments in the Renaissance building which has had a colourful past having previously been a nightclub, textile mill, foundry and a Chinese restaurant.

Aesthetics was an important factor which had to be taken into consideration by Rosendale based installers William Dyer Electrical when looking to recommend a system which would enable owners of the apartments to identify visitors and control access. Bill Dyer explains: "Although the building is not a listed structure, it is in  a conservation area and so great care  was taken by B & E Boys to ensure that the  original character of the building was kept, including where possible, re-use of the stonework."

Atlantico, designed with help from De Lucchi, one of Europe's leading design architects, was easily able to comply with the aesthetics requirement whilst offering an easy to use solution which included the functionality to allow all doors to be released in the event of a fire. In addition Atlantico offers the option to control the times of day when tradesmen are permitted access to the building.
