Gregg Maniaci was promoted to Senior Manager, Eastern Region, and Daniel Davies was promoted to Senior Manager
The new Senior Managers are now responsible for the Photo Imaging and Industrial Optics divisions

Tamron USA announced the reorganization of the US operations that merges the responsibilities of the previously separate areas of business. With this restructure, the newly appointed Senior Managers now hold responsibility for both the Photo Imaging Optics and the Industrial Optics divisions of the company. Gregg Maniaci was promoted to Senior Manager, Eastern Region, and Daniel Davies was promoted to Senior Manager, Western Region, each of who will oversee sales activity for both the Photo Imaging & Industrial Optics Division in their respective territories.

"As the pace of business in both the B2C and B2B areas of our operations quickens, we have streamlined the company to a structure that allows sales and profit management of both divisions under one senior manager for each region. This change will allow us to react more quickly to the changing business climates in both areas and will provide the company with even better management of profits and customer relations to ensure a healthy outlook in the coming years," stated Tak Inoue, President and CEO of Tamron USA, Inc.

Gregg Maniaci, Senior Manager, Eastern Region, Photo Imaging & Industrial Optics

Gregg Maniaci has 26 years of experience in the photo imaging industry. He first joined Tamron USA as the New York Metro photo imaging sales representative in May of 1995 after several years of photo specialty retail experience. Maniaci was promoted to Eastern Regional Sales Manager of the photo imaging division in December of 1998, and in 2009 he also assumed the role of Mid-western Regional Sales Manager until the two regions were combined in January of this year. Maniaci will oversee sales of the Photo Imaging Optics and Industrial Optics divisions for the eastern half of the US from Tamron's Long Island USA headquarters.

Daniel Davies, Senior Manager, Western Region, Photo Imaging & Industrial Optics

Dan Davies joined Tamron's Japanese headquarters in February of 2010 as a mechanical design engineer for the Industrial Optics Division. After 6 months of training in lens design and manufacture, he was sent to the San Francisco Sales Office to assume responsibility for OEM Industrial Optics sales in North America. In his new role, Davies will oversee sales of Photo Imaging Optics and Industrial Optics for the western half of the US from Tamron USA's San Francisco Sales Office. Ruth Cox, Western Regional Sales Manager of the Photo Imaging Optics division, will report to Davies.
