RISCO has been chosen as finalist for 'Integrated Security Solution of the Year' award and 'Security Training Initiative of the Year' award
RISCO's nomination is based on its innovative SynopSYS PSIM software
RISCO Group, a leading provider of integrated security solutions, has been selected as a finalist for two prestigious security awards in 2011. RISCO Group was nominated twice for the highly regarded 'Integrated Security Solution of the Year' award, based on two separate projects. RISCO's nomination for the award is based on its ground-breaking SynopSYS™ PSIM (Physical Security Information Management) software. In addition, RISCO is also a finalist for the 'Security Training Initiative of the Year' award.

RISCO Group has recently released a new version of its SynopSYS™ PSIM software. SynopSYS 2.0 is an integrated solution for security management, offering advanced tools for security officers and integrators.

One of the major enhancements in the new version of SynopSYS is the addition of drivers for third party systems, which enhance SynopSYS' capabilities and enable additional flexibility in choosing the most appropriate products for each project. Among those available are drivers for Paxton's access control and Galaxy Dimension's intrusion detection system, as well as for Vicon, Dedicated Micros, Hikvision, and EVT's video surveillance.

SynopSYS 2.0 introduces a new Situation Management Module, which mandates the operator to act upon an event according to a step-by-step procedure predefined by the security manager. Also introduced is a Scheduler Module, which enables the supervisor to schedule tasks such as video recording, authorization and report generation, on a one-time or recurring basis.
