NetWay1E PoE Midspan Injector delivers more power over the Ethernet
NetWay 1E PoE Midspan Injector is compliant PoE, PoE+ and LTPoE++™ compliant

Altronix, the leading manufacturer of low voltage power supplies and peripherals for the electronic security industry, answers the industry need to supply additional power to devices over the Ethernet with the introduction of the NetWay1E PoE Midspan Injector that is PoE, PoE+ and LTPoE++™ compliant. The new midspan power injector complies with the LTPoE++ protocol, and is also compatible with IEEE 802.3af [PoE (15W)] and IEEE 802.3at [PoE+ (30W)] devices. LTPoE++ is a proprietary standard that increases PoE power specifications to serve devices' higher power needs, including 70W, 52.7W and 38.7W powered devices, while maintaining the advantages and efficiencies of PoE.

“The industry trend is toward PoE devices that have higher power requirements, and our newest PoE Midspan accommodates the newest standard while maintaining compliance with traditional PoE and PoE+ devices,” said Alan Forman, President, Altronix. “This new product expands customers’ capabilities to power a whole new range of power-hungry IP devices.”

The single-port NetWay1E for standard and enhanced power network infrastructures (10/100/1000Base-T) provides auto detection and protection of legacy non-PoE cameras and devices. NetWay1E transmits over distances up to 100m (328 feet) without repeaters. Features also include port status LEDs, spring terminals for manual PoE shutdown and a detachable 3-wire grounded line cord. The NetWay1E operates on 115VAC (60Hz) and the NetWay1EV operates on 230VAC (50/60Hz).
