Danilo Patrucco to oversee Matica system installations and post-sale support in the Americas
Matica System has relocated its senior technical support specialist from Italy to the USA

Matica System, a leading worldwide company that designs, manufactures and distributes card personalization and mailing systems and ID card printers, announces recently that it is enhancing its support infrastructure in the Americas to better support its growing base of customers in the region.

The company has relocated Mr. Danilo Patrucco, its senior-most technical support specialist, from the company’s primary manufacturing facility in Italy to its primary field operations office in the USA.

Mr. Patrucco will oversee most large Matica system installations and post-sale support in the Americas, but the primary purpose of his new role is to transfer his many years of product knowledge to the company’s existing support team and partner network in the Americas, especially his knowledge of the high-volume S7000 card personalization and MS7000 mailing systems.

“With more than a dozen high-end card personalization and mailing systems sold in the Americas just in the latter half of the past year, we wanted to affirm to our partners and clients in this region that Matica is highly committed to them, and that we will continue to invest in the people and support infrastructure necessary to insure their complete satisfaction,” said Ed Cochran, Vice President of Global Sales.

“In addition to the relocation of Mr. Patrucco, we’ve significantly increased the quantity of spare parts that we maintain in our field offices in the Americas region, with the goal of being able to accommodate almost all parts needs via one of our regional hubs versus relying on shipments from corporate headquarters,” says Mr. Cochran. “We view these as the first steps of many we will be taking this year to increase our local presence and service infrastructure globally.”
