Included in the line are:

  • Lanyards - five different types including woven and flat styles are available in seven colours and five attachment styles.
  • Retractable reels - four reel styles; sixteen colours and two clip options offer convenient options for presentation of cards to proximity or magnetic stripe readers.
  • Badge holders - five styles clearly display IDs while protecting them during use.
  • Strap clips - five types of vinyl strap clips provide dependable attachment for badges.

"By adding accessories to our line of ID products, we're offering our distribution partners everything they need for a total card solution from one source," said Alan Fontanella, Vice President of Market Strategies for HID Global's secure issuance business. "We want to make accessories an easy add-on sale that will simplify their business while building revenue."

With other sources for accessories available, why choose HID Global?  For distributors like ADI, a global wholesale distributor of security and low voltage products, sourcing ID accessories through HID Global can enhance their business. "Our business model is based on providing a wide range of high-quality products that are available when our dealers need them," says Stacy Deveraux, ADI product manager.  "Suppliers like HID Global, who provide high-quality products and responsive customer service, are critical to the success of our model."

HID ID accessories will be available early summer 2008.
