HRDPX16, part of the Honeywell Performance Series, supports continuous, event, and combined continuous/event recording and is configurable per channel. Upon detection of motion, HRDPX can automatically boost the ips recording rate to capture additional details of the scene. In addition to recording at a rate of up to 400 ips PAL, HRDPX16 supports high-end capabilities such as user-friendly front panel control, mouse operation, IR remote control, a Set-up Wizard for fast and easy DVR set-up, Express Search to quickly find the video evidence, an internal DVD-RW and two USB ports for copying evidence to portable media. Once video evidence is located, the user can save video clips to the PC and/or to portable media such as a USB stick using Remote Software. A viewer executable is included with each clip that eliminates the need to install a viewer separately on the PC used to view the clip.HRDPX16 can be remotely accessed by system administrators and other DVR clients using a PC via web browser or via the powerful Remote Software included with each unit. The advanced feature set of the Remote Software allows the administrator to configure, update and operate the DVR from a central location. The ability to configure the unit remotely and download software updates from a central site saves time and money by reducing the need for periodic site visits. System operators can have individual privileges enabled or denied for functions such as live view, playback, backup, and PTZ control. Honeywell has announced new mobile remote access capability to its popular HRDP H.264 digital video recorder (DVR). The new Remote -View app allows users to view live video on their Apple iPhone® from CCTV surveillance systems that use Honeywell's HRDP H.264 DVR.Users download the free Remote-View app from the Apple iTunes store and set up connection parameters. Then, they simply select the DVR from a drop-down list and click Connect to see live video on their iPhone device.
