Middle Atlantic Products has announced that Maxwell Kopsho will serve as the company's new director of training. The appointment is a demonstration of the company's continuing mission to help integrators and specifiers deliver amazing AV experiences and develop industry-leading training initiatives that will support that pursuit. In this position, Kopsho is responsible for delivering best practices, application, and technical product training to customers. He is additionally responsible for application and technical training for Middle Atlantic's sales team, reps, and customer-facing associates to strengthen their ability to solve customer challenges.Kopsho holds key technical certifications that will aid in supporting training efforts, including CTS/I, CTS/D, and RCDD Enhancing Educational Programs "We continue to invest in training — for both our customers and our team members — because it is critical to helping customers deliver the best systems possible. Kopsho brings a wealth of experience as an educator, technical sales leader, and AV consultant. He is a senior faculty member at AVIXA, where he was awarded Educator of the Year in 2010 for his work in AV/IT and in preparing more than 1,200 students for the CTS exam. Kopsho holds key technical certifications that will aid in supporting training efforts, including CTS/I, CTS/D, and RCDD. He comes to Middle Atlantic from WolfVision, where he was the director of training and strategic business development. In that role, he was responsible for all global online and face-to-face training programs.

Investment In Furniture Portfolio Megan Knedler, formerly Middle Atlantic's director of marketing communications, will now serve as director of product management — furniture. In her new position, Knedler will be tasked with expanding the category's product and service offering, addressing the furniture challenges facing integrators today. "Megan's leadership and track record for delivering content and tools that help integrators design reliable systems have been instrumental to Middle Atlantic's success," said Tim Troast, Middle Atlantic Products' vice president of product management." Past Experience Knedler brings more than a decade of successful strategy and creative direction to her new role. As the director of marketing communications for Middle Atlantic for the last three years, she has lent her marketing and product sales expertise to improving the company's customer service offering and portfolio of infrastructure products. Committed to mentoring and developing talent who enable continued success for the company, Knedler currently serves on the executive board for Legrand's elle@Legrand NA women's forum. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in marketing from Iowa State University and a Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University. Tracy will be responsible for supporting growth for Middle Atlantic through the addition of new products Mark Tracy has been appointed to the newly created role of Vice President Strategic Business and Market Development for Middle Atlantic Products and the Commercial AV division of Legrand North America. Led by the Middle Atlantic brand, Legrand Commercial AV offers foundational infrastructure products to installing contractors, including Wiremold wire and cable management solutions and C2G cable assemblies. Part of an aggressive growth strategy for the company, this and related moves are intended to provide customers with the widest range of products and new technologies to improve system reliability and facilitate installations, and maintain the exceptional level of quality and support for which Middle Atlantic is known. Working closely with company president Mike Baker, Tracy will be responsible for supporting growth for Middle Atlantic and Legrand Commercial AV through the addition of new products, businesses and the development of new market applications and channels. Tracy will also represent Middle Atlantic and Legrand Commercial AV in key industry groups and work to evolve the company’s value proposition to an ever-expanding customer base to build complementary business alliances and identify, facilitate and integrate strategic acquisitions. In a simultaneous move, Tim Troast has been appointed to the position of Director of Product Management for Middle Atlantic in charge of New Product Development and Product Line Management.
