By making our solutions Seos-capable, our customers can now also benefit from the interoperability and enhanced security of this important new open standard for credential technology.” Seos technology has been adopted across HID Global as its standard to establish trusted and private communications for secure identities. Seos technology is chip-independent, enabling it to be easily ported across different hardware devices of different manufacturing origin. An HID Global secure identity including a Secure Identity Object® (SIO®) can be loaded onto a Seos-ready card at the time of manufacturing or provisioned to a Seos-ready phone via HID Mobile Access. HID Global’s secure identities provide an additional layer of trust over and above the protection offered by the underlying card or phone.
