Juan Carlos Ramiro, General Director of CENTAC (National Accessibility Technology Center of Spain) and Jeremy Palacio, Managing Director of FERMAX, have signed a collaboration agreement for 2018. This alliance will contribute to creating and promoting accessible and usable goods, products and services in order to make elderly people, or people with different types of disabilities independent. FERMAX Joins CENTAC On 28th November 2017, the Spanish company FERMAX joined, as collaborator, the National Center for Accessibility Technologies of Spain (CENTAC). Both entities signed a collaboration agreement which contributes to the accessible technological development to improving the autonomy of elderly or disabled people. The objective of this agreement is to obtain social benefits by creating realities, which means accessible and usable products and services that will improve the life of many people. This will also have an impact on the economic point of view. The event was attended by Fernando Maestre, president of FERMAX, and Jeremy Palacio, Managing Director, accompanied by Jesús Gutierrez, Claudia Torrico, Antonio Torrubias and Mónica Gil, members of FERMAX team, with Juan Carlos Ramiro, General Director of CENTAC and his team. Juan Carlos Ramiro said that FERMAX is a great ally, leader in the sector of door entry and access control systems: "Together we can generate autonomy within homes, public spaces and buildings. FERMAX will play an essential role in the projects and actions of CENTAC, especially providing accessible goods, products and services in the Smart Integrated Spaces”, added Juan Carlos Ramiro. FERMAX will begin in 2018 to be part of CENTAC and its projects from 2018. Jeremy Palacio, Managing Director of FERMAX, outlines different lines of work in which it is necessary to make an influence. More than a hundred people, including customers, associations and friends of the company, attended the opening of Fermax Madrid's new commercial office in Leganés (Madrid) on 24th September. A spacious and elegant 300 meter space that has been designed according to Fermax's business vision and is based on the principle of proximity to the customer. In his welcome speech, Jeremy Palacio highlighted the importance of 2019 for the company, a special year because of Fermax's 70th anniversary. In this regard, he reminded affectionately the words of Fermax's founder, Mr Fernando Maestre Martínez, who recently passed away, "A great businessman, great person, humble and close, who always committed on building relationships in the medium and long term, with employees, customers and suppliers". Changing the video entry paradigm In addition, the Managing Director also stressed the company's ability to adapt to change and that the 2020-2021 biennium will be key for Fermax as the company is working to ‘change the video door entry paradigm’. Finally, he pointed out that the objective of the new Madrid's office opening is to grow business volume in the central zone of Spain, which "thanks to the ambitious schedule of planned product's launches and the high quality of customers in the area, we are sure that we will achieve". Fermax unveiled their latest technology, including home automation systems and video door entry systems Fermax took part in Intersec 2017, the trade fair for security and safety in the Middle East. Fermax used this opportunity to unveil their latest technology, which offers equipment that integrates home automation systems and video door entry systems for safe, comfortable and efficient homes; their objective being to turn the video door entry system screen into the technological heart of the home. New Video Door Entry System At the 19th edition of Intersec, Fermax proposed new video door entry system devices that integrate home automation solutions. For this reason, Fermax’s stand was situated in the ‘Smart Homes’ pavilion. Using a large but minimalist space with oriental influences, Fermax displayed different technologies for audio and video door entry systems, video door entry and access control systems, advanced outdoor panels and indoor terminals, as well as home automation solutions integrated in video door entry system monitors. All this was presented under the umbrella of the Made in Spain design, showing a commitment for innovation and technological convergence. Fermax Home Automation Without a doubt, the focus for hundreds of visitors to the Fermax stand was DOMINIUM, the Smart Living system presented by the company. This system has been very well-received in the Middle East, where premium quality and design, together with top features in residential constructions, are highly sought-after. The company presented the SMILE TOUCH DOMINIUM monitor with BUSing technology, compatible with KNX and with a 7” touchscreen, whose design is one of the most awarded in Fermax. Thus, the Fermax home automation range includes a new system to manage the home security, comfort and energy efficiency. IP Technology Fermax offers possibilities in terms of contemporary design and IP technology with the new VIVO+ and  LYNX monitors Fermax made the most of this occasion to showcase its latest developments in terms of TCP/IP technology and MDS Digital system. The new HI-LINE outdoor panel, as part of the luxury market, offers a sophisticated style, high-durability materials and perfect usability with two touchscreens and dual access control system. Indoors, Fermax can offer a wide range of possibilities in terms of contemporary design and IP technology with the new VIVO+ and the SMILE TOUCH LYNX monitors. VIVO+ further highlights the pure lines and state-of-the-art design of the VIVO monitor with a 10” touchscreen. A new version of the SMILE monitor with IP technology and 7” touchscreen was also exhibited. Both LYNX video door entry systems can integrate home automation management and include DOMINIUM applications into their operative system. MDS Digital Technology The MDS (Multiplexed Digital System) digital technology was also present, as it is a widely-known and recommended system in the MENA region. Combined with VDS, Fermax builds on a differentiated offer: the VEO monitor, with audio handset and 4.3” TFT touchscreen, and the TOUCH version of the SMILE monitor with 7” touchscreen. Specially designed for the Middle East and Asia Pacific regions, Fermax presented a gold version of the SMILE VDS. Outdoors, the new element of the MDS system is the URBANLINE panel, with a clean design in anodized aluminum and touchscreens. Fermax's solutions demonstrate the company’s adaptability to the global context and its strong commitment to innovation Centralized Access Control Systems Finally, Fermax also included a new product line specializing in Access Control Systems. On this occasion the focus was placed on the IP technology for Centralized Access Control Systems. Keeping in line with the stand, the IP AXES system was presented as an advanced, intuitive and flexible solution, ideal for medium to large smart buildings and complexes. The Rhône-Alpes region is a prime location to offer a closer service to Fermax's professional clients Having been present for many years in the French market, Fermax France has seen a continuous expansion and a constant positive turnover. The General Management decided to reinforce its presence in French territory and naturally, it has chosen the Rhône-Alpes region, one of the areas with more prospects for advancement, and a prime location to offer a closer service to its professional clients. Rhône-Alpes Office Team Fermax opened its new office at 13 Edison Street, in Bron (Lyon), in order to welcome clients and offer training or product demonstration days. The Rhône-Alpes office team is composed of Cédric Lengelé and Jérôme Duffoux, two professionals equipped with a wealth of commercial, technical and social skills, who convey the values of service and reactivity, which are important for Fermax. The commercial office’s opening day took place Wednesday the 29th of June in the company of more than 60 clients of the brand in the region. DOMINIUM Video Door Unit In this 18th edition, numerous visitors and professionals from the safety and security sectors showed great interest in the home automation solutions integrated into the video door unit DOMINIUM, by Fermax, and, particularly, in its innovative features of remote control via smartphones and tablets. That is because, this year, the focus of INTERSEC Dubai was on home automation proposals for smart, safe and energy-efficient homes. DUOX Video System The event was the opportunity to introduce the DUOX technology to the Middle East region. DUOX is FERMAX's novel video system. Its communications and transmissions are entirely digital, and its simplified installation makes it capable of functioning on two non-polarized wires. This pioneer technology attracted visitors, who were able to test its capabilities through monitors and street panels. WAY KIT Video Door Entry On the other hand, the WAY KIT for residential properties was also center of attention at the Fermax's booth. It is the first product launch of the WAY Series. The kit offers a very attractive and interesting design for professionals, and multiple features for the final user, which range from image recording and sound selection to do not disturb function or call recording, everything managed through a 7'' TFT digital touchscreen monitor. This is why distributors from all over the world have joined this robust and differentiating option: a complete kit with a simple non-polarized 2-wire installation and pre-programmed equipment. Lastly, the monitors from the SMILE Series and the SKYLINE street panel were also present at this must-attend event. The new Smile monitor has been largely enhanced with a significant interior transformation. This generation of monitors offers greater response capability than the previous one, in addition to an improved, simpler configurator, and lower energy consumption. SMILE continues to be admired and demanded among the professionals of the industry and final users.
