Managing Director, Security InstituteDavid Thorp, the Managing Director of the Security Institute is responsible for the day-to-day management of the organization, implementation of plans as well as to help the Board of Directors develop their strategy for the development and growth of the Institute. He has an extensive experience of the strategic development of a membership organization and the various services and structures required for an organization granted a Royal Charter. David holds a BA in Law and an MSc in Training and Performance Management and most recently he was Director of Research & Professional Development at The Chartered Institute of Marketing. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Member of the British Institute of Learning and Development.
