Developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), SOC 2 Type 2 is one of the industry’s most rigorous independent audits for evaluating how organizations manage, secure and govern customer data. The independent audit confirms that across all tested controls, including access management, infrastructure security, monitoring, and incident response, Oncam successfully met all controls with no exceptions noted, confirming the effectiveness of Oncam’s internal security, systems and processes. Robust security protocols “Achieving SOC 2 Type 2 certification is an important milestone for Oncam, as it validates the security and operational rigor across our entire platform,” said Scott Brothers, Chief Operating Officer at Oncam. “The independent audit validated controls across the full Oncam ecosystem — from our cloud platform and cameras to firmware, gateway software, and mobile apps — confirming that our controls are operating effectively.
