DVTEL showcases partnership with EMC Corp. and HTS at Expo Seguridad 2012 in Mexico

DVTEL, INC., IP video surveillance technology innovator, recently announced that it will showcase its partnership with EMC Corp., a market leading provider of storage solutions, and HTS, a supplier of license-plate recognition software, at Expo Seguridad 2012, being held April 24-26 at the Banamex Center in Mexico City.

The close collaboration between DVTEL and its partners enables the development of a comprehensive, intelligent IP video surveillance solution that minimizes integration complexities. The DVTEL HTS module integrates DVTEL’s Latitude NVMSwith HTS’s License Plate Recognition engine, providing seamless archiving and monitoring of generated events. DVTEL’s strategic partnership with EMC delivers innovative ways to store, optimize and leverage critical surveillance data securely. Conference attendees are invited to view joint demonstrations between DVTEL, EMC and HTS at booth #3335.

During the exhibition, DVTEL will also demonstrate the capabilities of TruWitness, an award-winning mobile application that transforms cell phones into real-time networked surveillance cameras. Users can tap into the power of their smart devices to stream, record, analyze, review and export video from any location over WiFi, 3G/4G and LTE networks. TruWitness extends the coverage of surveillance networks into areas not covered by fixed cameras, and enables the deployment and use of cameras in real time. It is currently available to DVTEL Latitude 6.2 users free of charge and is supported on Android-based smart phones running on OS version 2.2 and above. DVTEL’s recently introduced Quasar line of HD broadcast quality cameras will also be on display during the exhibition.
