G4S Technology will share enhanced capabilities with secure transmission solutions from Wavesight
G4S system integrates with Wavesight's wireless solutions for secure transmission video

The Symmetry Security Management System from G4S Technology now integrates with Wavesight, Europe's leading innovator in wireless solutions for secure transmission video.

The wireless system is a genuine alternative to traditional cable and fibre transmission and can be easily implemented across roads, rivers, railway lines and even around buildings. The solution works by connecting two remote points, up to 40Km apart and can be further extended via multiple points.

This new integration enables existing and new Symmetry building security systems to monitor areas that traditionally may not have been cost effective to protect. With minimal outlay, implementing the solution involves less disruption than conventional cable installations.

The secure outdoor communications are ideal for integrating manufacturing, utilities, retail, construction, transportation and high security government facilities.

G4S Technology's Managing Director, Stewart Angell said "We are delighted to be working with Wavesight. Their specialist knowledge of outdoor wireless solutions for video surveillance is the best in class. We are already working with customers to tackle security challenges that until now were simply not commercially viable for them to address."

Steve Pittom, Managing Director, Wavesight added "G4S Technology has quickly adopted the Wavesight solution within a diverse range of projects. As a result, their customers are already benefiting from lower costs and significantly reduced inconvenience compared to the alternatives."
