The CMC provides alarm receiving and CCTV monitoring services to a wide range of customers
Vtec Zoom clients will benefit from the use of Corps Monitoring Centre

Corps Security has announced an exclusive contract with VtecZoom, one of the UK’s leading installers of CCTV and Access Control systems. The agreement will mean that all VtecZoom’s clients will now benefit from the use of the Corps Monitoring Centre (CMC), as well as having access to the company’s other range of services.

Headquartered in Standish, Lancashire, and with offices in Washington, Tyne and Wear, VtecZoom has been installing and maintaining CCTV and access control systems across the nation for the last 25 years. Over that time the company has developed an enviable reputation for the quality of its service and has a dedicated customer technical helpdesk that ensures the smooth running of all its customer accounts. Accredited to SSAIB and ISO9001, the desire for excellence in all areas of its business operations has contributed significantly to its growth.

For the last six years VtecZoom has been a customer of the CMC, however, during this period it also used other remote monitoring centers – a situation that has now altered. Bob Lister the company’s managing director, explained, ‘We have previously chosen not to have an exclusive contract with any one remote monitoring center. We believe that the CMC is without doubt a leading facility of its kind, which is why we have decided to agree an exclusive contract with it so that all our clients can benefit.’

Based in Glasgow, the CMC provides alarm receiving and CCTV monitoring services to a wide range of customers across many market sectors on an independent basis, or as part of an integrated service incorporating manpower and technology.

‘This facility exemplifies Corps Security’s commitment to innovation and forward thinking,’ commented Eric Roberts, Corps Security’s CMC business development director. ‘It is one of the most advanced monitoring facilities in the UK and we have also attained National Security Inspectorate (NSI) Gold accreditation to go with our existing BS 8418 and ISO 9001:2008 certifications.’

The CMC and VtecZoom only work with best in class manufacturers and both companies recently announced strategic partnerships with Avigilon, the IP video surveillance specialist. Highly innovative, Avigilon’s Control Center HD network video management software and IP megapixel cameras deliver superior image quality and maximum coverage. It efficiently compresses and preserves image quality while intelligently managing HD image transmission throughout the entire Avigilon system – sending only the requested portions of captured images.

Control Center has already been integrated into the CMC and Corps Security is stimulating interest about the system amongst its approved installers and end users. At the same time VtecZoom is promoting the technology to its clients and the response has been overwhelmingly positive.

Corps Security’s Eric Roberts concluded, ‘I’m delighted that VtecZoom has decided to enter into an exclusive contract with the CMC and this means that it is now our largest customer. The fact that it is confident enough to do this is testament to the unrivalled level of service that we offer and our forward thinking attitude to what we do. I look forward to developing the relationship between our companies and raising the bar even further in terms of what the CMC can offer.”
