Interlogix, a leader in security and life safety solutions for residential and commercial enterprises, increases its capability in IFS® industrial PoE media converters and high power PoE-at (PoE+) network switches, offering exceptional performance in challenging environments, such as industrial security and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). The new network switches and media converters provide high power PoE (30w) that complies with IEEE802.3at standards for use with IP edge devices requiring higher power to operate.
“Interlogix’ IFS brand of industrial network equipment offers highly reliable performance in demanding environments, such as factory floors, warehouses and road-side traffic signalization - cabinets where temperature, dust and humidity can stress standard electronic components,” said Mike Chiavacci, general manager, video & transmission, Interlogix.
The products in this line are ideal for wide-temperature operation, providing electrical transient protection and optional redundant power operation.
