Videx have introduced a new range of vandal resistant modules designed to complement the successful VR4K vandal resistant door entry panel range.  The VR4K series can be used with many of the company’s door entry and access control systems, including the digital VX2200 system, audio and video kits and the Videx GSM systems.

The new VR4KNP modules have a 12 gauge stainless steel fascia with a robust and visually attractive die cast frame, vandal resistant buttons and features to assist with compliance with DDA legislation.  Security screws are used to attach the frame to the back box.   Both low profile surface versions, 44mm deep, and flush mounting models are available, together with posts and post mount plates.

The new modules include a speaker module with call button and name plate window, as well as button modules with 2, 3 and 4 buttons all with a name plate window.  The bright back lit polycarbonate name plate window is also vandal resistant since the name insert can only be removed from the inside.

An alternative vandal resistant button is available that adds a high contrast between the fascia and button having a bright yellow bezel. It is ideal for visually impaired users.  All the panels include as standard call progress tones and LEDs to indicate when to “Speak” (yellow LED), “Calling or Busy” (red LED) and “Door Open” (green LED).

With the new modules, installers and specifiers therefore now have an even greater choice of solutions.  They are featured on the company’s new Product Builder 8 CD, the simple way to create highly professional, customised door entry and access control systems with no prior knowledge of Videx products.
