EMIRAJE Systems LLC has received the contract for command and control system of the UAE (Emirates Command and Control System ECCS) by the Forces Headquarters Armed Arab Emirates (UAE). The first phase of this contract is valued at 500 million U.S. dollars. ECCS is an important programme of command, control, communications, computing, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance C4ISR) to coordinate, integrate, maximize efficiency and combined applications of the UAE Armed Forces. ECCS also provides a new model of industrial cooperation.
As the prime contractor for ECCS, EMIRAJE Systems LLC will take over all the activities of system design and integration, as well as the development of critical components in Abu Dhabi. The company will also stress on the presence of solid joint industrial organization, composed of suppliers from around the world in the defence sector and subcontractors in Spain, France, UK, UAE, States and Switzerland.
Emiraje Systems LLC is a joint venture formed in 2009 between C4 Advanced Solutions (C4AS) and EAI (Emirates Advanced Solutions (C4AS); a 100% subsidiary of IAC group (Emirates Advanced Investments) and Cassidian (formerly EADS Defence & Security).
EMIRAJE Systems has forged a long-term collaboration between EAI/C4AS Cassidian and aims, in particular, to develop industrial capacity, effective and durable in the UAE; offering an experience and accredited technical knowledge in the field of large system integration (LSI Lead Systems Integrator ) and C4ISR systems and government defence.

EMIRAJE is developing this capability to the UAE through:
- A broad technical knowledge transfer and technology obtained mainly from its strategic partner Cassidian and also key international subcontractors.
- A strong policy of "emiratizacion", i.e. local, which aims to attract and harness the best talent in the UAE from software engineering including programme management and all the skills required to develop and integrate large systems.
