Pecan CCTV has recently launched the first two feature-packed cameras in their revolutionary new Pro-Fit Dome Range. Both the VRD139 Series vandal-resistant dome and D108 Series internal dome have been designed to provide the ultimate in easy to install cameras whilst offering the benefits of the latest state-of-the-art technology.
The VRD139 Series is a high resolution 1/3” Sony Super HAD II CAD 600 TVL colour/mono dome with a joystick-controlled ‘Icon’ drop-down On Screen Display (OSD) menu, RS 485 interface and UTP connectivity. This easy to install 12v/24v auto-sensing dual voltage vandal-resistant camera which can be surface or flush mounted also features an easy to adjust click-set 3-axis gimble and is available in a choice of four options. The VRD139 has a 2.8-11mm F1.4 varifocal lens whilst the VRD139LT offers the additional benefit of an 850nM ‘Smart’ LED with True Day/Night (TDN) filter as does the VRD139LTOF which has a 2.9-5mm F1.4 omni focus lens plus an IR remote controller for easy lens set up and an alarm function. The top of the series - the 690 TVL VRD139DPS has a Pixim ‘Seawolf’ sensor and signal processor.
The TDN mechanism ensures that during daylight hours the IR-cut filter is in place to allow the camera to produce accurate colour images but when darkness falls the filter moves allowing full IR sensitivity whilst the ‘Smart’ LED compensates for bright light saturation. When privacy is an issue monitoring can be masked in certain zones within the scene. Users can define up to 8 rectangular masking zones.
The D108 Series 600 TVL colour/mono internal dome features the same high specification as its vandal-resistant Pro-Fit Range ‘sister’ including the ‘trade mark’ easy to adjust click-set 3-axis gimble – i.e. joystick-controlled ‘Icon’ drop-down OSD menu, RS 485 interface, UTP connectivity, 12v/24v auto-sensing dual voltage plus an audio function and user cable connector system as standard.
