| Immervision annouces the appointment of a new vice-president of Finance |
ImmerVision, the expert in 360° Panoramic Imaging Technology, announces the appointment of Frederic Belanger as Vice President of Finance. Belanger joins ImmerVision from GE Capital, a provider of financial solutions to a broad range of businesses, where he led the Canadian syndication capital markets activities.
Belanger, a Chartered Accountant, holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from HEC in Montreal (École des Hautes Études Commerciales) as well as an MBA in Finance from McGill University. Prior to GE Capital, Belanger served as an investment manager at SGF Tech, a venture capital fund focused on investing in high tech companies. He began his career with Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton before moving into the corporate finance sector.
"Frederic brings ImmerVision 15 years of experience in structuring and negotiating commercial and equity financing, setting up business partnerships and assessing and analyzing investment opportunities," said Pascale Nini, President and CEO of ImmerVision. "His knowledge of the financial industry and his general management skills will play a major role in shaping the future success of ImmerVision," added Nini.
