Multi-stream delivery of HD video surveillance images via the cloud is now possible with Ocularis-X from OnSSI
The Ocularis-X technology enables live monitoring and synchronised playback of multiple megapixel camera streams

Multi-stream delivery of HD video surveillance images via the cloud is now possible with Ocularis-X from OnSSI. On display at the 2012 Electronic Security Expo (ESX), the award-winning server software enables web and mobile clients to access live and playback HD video streams from multiple megapixel cameras over limited bandwidth networks such as 3G/4G, broadband and the Internet. Also on display is OnSSI's new Ocularis 3.0 which simplifies the management of large-scale deployments and supports the infrastructure required for the breakthrough Ocularis-X technology.

OnSSI’s new Ocularis-X technology enables live monitoring and synchronised playback of multiple megapixel camera streams, sent to users at their original high frame rate. Users are presented with much smoother video and are able to zoom into an image without losing detail, resulting in superior detection of incidents and identification of culprits. Compatible with all recent versions of Ocularis, Ocularis-X will also allow VSaaS (Video Surveillance as a Service) providers to deliver high-speed, high-resolution, multi-camera video to their clients. Visitors to the OnSSI booth will see a demonstration of how the Ocularis Web Client, powered by Ocularis-X, provides a look, feel and ease-of-use similar to the familiar Ocularis desktop client.

Ocularis 3.0 addresses system management challenges brought on by the growing volume of cameras in deployments and the increased demand for collaboration tools across large systems. With its architectural simplicity, Ocularis 3.0 offers an easy system management experience by providing map, view, and event sharing between user groups, as well as camera-group management in the Ocularis Administrator.
