Raytec, specialist manufacturers of professional CCTV Lighting, have announced the supply of Infra-Red and White-Light LED illuminators to major ports and airports within Europe.
Raytec illuminators are used to deliver high quality CCTV during the vulnerable hours of darkness. However, Infra-Red or White-Light can be used to deliver night-time pictures from any camera. Zurich airport in Switzerland recently used several RAYMAX Infra-Red illuminators as part of a camera system designed to read number plates. Additionally a number of sea ports are now using Raytec Infra-Red to monitor the coast line or RAYLUX white-light to monitor cargo holding areas.
