Dave has a wealth of experience of working within Siemens, as well as running smaller external companies and his last role was to head the Motion Control and Drives business. He has worked in solutions sales, service / lifecycle support and the deployment of systematic methods to achieve results. Both Dave and Peter are currently working together during a one month handover period to enable Dave to familiarise himself with the customers, the business and the staff, in readiness for Peter's departure on 1st November 2009.
Dave explains: "I am extremely focused on getting results, and passionate about customer service and activity. I believe in developing strategic and long standing business relationships with customers and see this as critical in enabling us to meet our customers' needs. People are a key asset in our business and a highly motivated team is crucial to positive customer relationships and producing good quality work. My aim is always to motivate and support the continuous development of the team to deliver."

Peter comments: "We have a great brand and excellent people, which is a winning combination. I would like to thank everyone for the support given to me over the past sixteen years; it has been a privilege to be part of this team and I wish all of you great success in the coming year."
Erik Kahlert, Managing Director of Siemens Building Technologies states: "Peter has made an important contribution to the success of the security solutions team, especially in the transition from a systems business to a solutions business.
