RISCO Group creates IP based integrated security solutions for the global security market
RISCO Group is reinforcing its presence in the North American market with a number of strategic initiatives
RISCO Group, a leading provider of integrated security systems, is reinforcing its presence in the North American market with a number of strategic initiatives. Highlights of the plan include the launch of RISCO Group USA, headed by Len Friedman as President and CEO; new corporate headquarters in Melville, NY; the appointment of Robert Barry as Vice President of Integration Sales and Support; and a carefully crafted product portfolio designed to expand business opportunities.

"Launching the U.S. office is a milestone in the company's roadmap and provides the opportunity to realize RISCO's vision of delivering the most flexible, end-to-end security systems solutions backed by superior customer support services to the North American market."

The company's parent company, RISCO Group, Ltd., has been manufacturing quality security products for 30 years with a presence in the U.S. market that spans over 20 years as Rokonet Industries. Under Mr. Friedman's direction, RISCO Group USA will focus on expanding the company's product offerings to focus on integrated system solutions that will be developed organically and through select acquisitions.

Mr. Friedman was formerly with Bosch Security Systems, where he held several management positions including Vice President of Marketing for the Americas. His industry experience also includes management positions with Ademco/Honeywell where he was one of the founding fathers of First Alert Professional Security Systems.

An additional component of RISCO Group USA's strategy moving forward is a strong commitment to environmental issues

Recently promoted to Vice President of Integration Sales and Support, Robert Barry will be responsible for establishing critical measurements for determining Sales Projections in addition to Inventory, Technical Support, Training Programs and oversight of the RISCO Engineered Services (RES). Bringing 25 years of Industry field experience to this position, Bob has an integral role in supporting RISCO's Commercial Intrusion, Access, Video and Integration platforms in the United States and Canada. A professor at Farmingdale State College in New York where students can receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Security Systems, Bob teaches Physical Security in the Criminal Justice Department.
