IPVideo Corporation, a leading provider of video management and physical security information management (PSIM) solutions, announced the Legacy Bridge, a new digital bridge for easy and affordable integration of analog cameras into a network-based video management system. The Legacy Bridge is now bundled for no additional charge with IPVideo Corporation's industry leading Sentry VMS video management systems, enabling organizations to implement a powerful IP video surveillance solution while protecting their existing analog camera investment.

"The transition to network video from analog is cost prohibitive for many organizations and there are still millions of active analog cameras worldwide", said David Antar, president of IPVideo Corporation. Legacy Bridge provides a truly affordable way for organizations to reap the extraordinary benefits of IP video including scalability, remote access, and camera intelligence. Unlike any other options available today, with Legacy Bridge there are no per channel upcharges. And the solution is scalable for up to hundreds of cameras.

Pricing and Availability

The Legacy Bridge is currently available and is bundled with all Sentry VMS video management systems models. Configurations start at 16 channels systems and range to those handling hundreds of cameras.

Sentry VMS Systems

Sentry VMS has three models depending on installation configuration:

  • Sentry PRO is designed for SMB installations and supports up to 32 cameras and up to 6TB of storage.
  • Sentry EDGE is for installations with up to 64 cameras and 12TB of storage.
  • Sentry Enterprise is a fully scalable system designed to manage an unlimited number of cameras.
