Technical Specification
- Make: ELATEC
- Model code: T4CM-FC0
- Reader Type: Proximity
- Standalone/ Networkable: Networkable
- Wiegand Interface: Yes
Elatec’s TWN4 family of transponder readers and writers allows users to read and write to almost any 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz tags and/or labels – it supports all major transponders from various suppliers like ATMEL, EM, ST, NXP, TI, HID, LEGIC, etc. and ISO standards like ISO14443A/B (T=CL), ISO15693, ISO18092 / ECMA-340 (NFC). Our core modules are the foundation of our all-in-one RFID readers thus utilizing the full functionality of our TWN Technology. In order to offer greater flexibility and security, they can be mounted at a random place in a given machine (e.g. bottom of a multi-functional printer) while their antennas can be connected via a cable and situated at a different place in order to allow more convenient identification for users (e.g. ID terminal on the side of a printer). This gives hardware integrators the freedom to optimally use any remaining empty spaces in their machines and attach antennas of their choice. Furthermore, they can communicate through various interfaces like USB, RS232, Serial, I²C, SPI, Clock/Data and Wiegand. The TWN4 MultiTech Core is designed for integration into machines or any other device to be used with an external antenna (125 kHz, 13.56 MHz or both).
