The ACS5000-E is the basic building block of any ACS5000 system. It consists of the main processing board and chassis, plus the local communications infrastructure to control up to 14 additional Door Control and/or IO modules. The main board contains two full built-in Door Control modules. The ACS5000-E uses an on-board Ethernet interface to communicate via any TCP/IP networking technology that can be connected through a hub, router or switch, including WiFi and satellite communications.
