The Axiom/VM41 combination becomes a remote site security system communicating to a Fast Scan Transceiver at the central monitoring station by either standard telephone or digital ISDN lines. Note: Remote pan, tilt and zoom control is available from the VM41's RS232 port only as the RS485 port is utilised for remote VID control. In this case, an external RS232 to RS422 converter is required to interface to the telemetry stations, and the bi-directional transparent RS232 port becomes unavailable. Part no 220303.
