ACT ACTsmart2 1070 is a proximity reader. It can be a standalone, connected together in a master-slave configuration or networked through a PC. The reader is in one combined unit, saving significant installation time and cost.

Vanderbilt’s Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) readers work in conjunction with the company’s ACT Enterprise 2.10 access control software. The new range includes Wiegand and OSDP readers, a contactless door release button, virtual credentials available through an ACT Enterprise license, and a free end-user app for Android™ and iOS™. Vanderbilt’s BLE readers remove the need for a physical credential and replace it with a virtual credential for smartphone devices that will provide customers with a far greater and smoother user experience. Designed with a customer-first mindset, mobile credentials are also extensively secure and are protected with the same grade of data encryption used by banks and hospitals. Customer-first Focus A strong indicator of Vanderbilt’s dedicated customer-focused approach to releasing this progressive technology is, in comparison to other brands in this area, the company is offering a one-off license purchase as opposed to a subscription-based model that would include annual charges per virtual credential. Instead, Vanderbilt’s license models means its customers won’t have any hidden or extra costs and can make significant savings in the long-term. Ease of Use In addition, making use of the BLE readers couldn’t be easier. The end-user simply downloads the Vanderbilt Bluetooth app, and registers for a credential with the system administrator. Here, authorization can be granted both offline and online. The system administrator then reviews and processes the request. This in turn sends the end-user a QR code that they save to their smartphone and link to their app to generate their credential. Then all the end-user has to do is use the credential through the app on their phone when approaching doors with Vanderbilt BLE readers to gain access. Vanderbilt’s BLE readers aim to give a unique user experience with four identification modes for easy management: “Shake to Go”, “Show to Go”, “Manual Button Mode”, and “Hands Free Mode”. They’re also IP65 water-resistant with waterproof electronics, and easy to install and use with enrolment software in ACT Enterprise.

The FP4000 Fingerprint Codoor is a smart, stylish access control product that incorporates an electronic fingerprint reader, an electromechanical lock, a code lock and a battery power supply in a single housing.  It is designed to be mounted directly on any door in an indoor environment.When the FP4000 is fitted, the door handle on the outside of the door is disengaged and may be pressed down without opening the door.  Access through that door is granted only when an authorized fingerprint is scanned by a reader and/or when a valid PIN code is entered.  For safety reasons, the handle on the inside of the door is not affected by Fingerprint Codoor - it works normally for people leaving the premises - no fingerprint or code is required. Up to 32 different fingerprint templates and up to four 4-digit codes may be used with a single FP4000.  Repeated scanning of invalid fingerprints or entry of invalid codes blocks the reader from further attempts. The FP4000 model is suitable for continental European lock cases, with a distance of 72 mm between the centre of the door handle and the centre of the lock cylinder. Another model, the FP5000, is suitable for Scandinavian lock cases, with a distance of between 105 mm and 116 mm between the centre of the door handle and the centre of the lock cylinder. Siemens ASE5300-HA is an extended HR application programming interface  that builds upon the Basic HR API (ASE5300-AP). RF Codoor is highly secure, cost-efficient and easy to install. It can either be used standalone or as a fully integrated, cable-free component of a SiPass Entro access control system.SiPass Entro is a very flexible and user-friendly PC-based system with integrated wireless capability.  SiPass Entro's new controller, the SR35i, provides wireless communication via Zigbee, and fully supports RF Codoor. The SR35i enables wireless online communication between RF Codoor and the SiPass Entro system for distances up to 25 meters.  Even greater distances are possible via the use of repeaters.Wireless doors in a SiPass Entro system function exactly the same way that wired doors do.  All events, at all doors, are monitored and logged in the SiPass Entro software.
