Getting a handle on convenient indoor security is easier than ever with the new Code-It electronic security handle from Mul-T-Lock, an ASSA ABLOY company. An instant hit since its release in October of last year, the Code-It has impressed integrators, locksmiths and consumers alike with its sleek design, effortless installation and user-friendly operation. Code-It offers a most affordable, modern and integrated door handle/keypad lock.

Code-It features four buttons at the end of its handle numbered 1, 2, 3 and 4, plus a manual “LOCK” button, LED status indicator and sound indicator (which can be switched on or off). Up to nine user codes (each code 4 – 6 digits) can be programmed, along with a master code. Code-It is battery powered and does not require an electrical outlet, and one pair of batteries is good or up to 100,000 entries. The LED displays activation, deactivation and battery life status.
Code-It locks only from outside the door and opens freely from the inside. It offers two operation modes: in Manual mode, the door locks only once the “LOCK” button is pushed in. In Automatic mode, the door is locked automatically upon closing. Code-It is suitable for use in most types of doors with a thickness of 1-3/8 to 2-1/4 inches.
The Mul-T-Lock Code-It is easy to install in under two minutes. It is securely fixed from the inside of the door, preventing disassembly from the outside. Code-It is an easy replacement for most existing handle types. It is supplied with an adjustable backset and is suitable for use with most types of locking and latching products. Code-It is available in an attractive satin chrome finish and is also offered in passage style (without push buttons) to match free access doors with those who require Code-It locking.
