Synology UK has announced with immediate effect the appointment of Nicole Lin as Managing Director, taking over from Yi-Lin Huang who will continue his service with Synology at headquarters in Taiwan. “Lin has a strong work ethic. Her experience managing Synology products and growing the Synology presence in other territories makes her the right expert for the UK, Ireland and Nordic regions.” said Derren Lu, CEO of Synology Inc. “I believe this will be a very exciting time for the UK team and our partners.” NAS And DSM System Lin joins the UK office after contributing to product management and marketing at Synology headquarters. This year, the annual event is being moved to a larger venue due to past popularity and will be held at the prestigious 8 Northumberland Avenue on Wednesday 16th September 2015. Yi-Lin Huang brings with him an in-depth knowledge of Synology NAS devices and the DiskStation Manager (DSM) operating system Synology® announce the arrival of the new UK Managing Director, Yi-Lin Huang. Huang joins the UK office after working for Synology in Taiwan for over 10 years. Starting in January 2005, as a Product Developer, Huang has worked in roles including Technical Support Manager and more recently Product Department Senior Manager. He brings with him an in-depth knowledge of Synology NAS devices and the DiskStation Manager (DSM) operating system. His plans include developing the technical support team and to continue a steady sales growth in the UK, Ireland and Nordic countries. “We have had good sales and marketing momentum in the UK, Ireland and Nordic countries for the past 3 years,” said Yi-Lin Huang, Managing Director, Synology UK. “We will continue to expand the business channels and provide our customers and partners with the best support possible.” Huang takes over from Mike Chen who will be moving back to Taiwan, to work on greater challenges at Head Office.
