The acquisition combines two complementary companies and creates a more sophisticated systems integrator Intertech Security, an independent security systems integrator based in Pittsburgh, PA, recently announced that it has acquired Accent Electronic Systems Integrators, Inc. (Accent ESI), a privately-held, certified system integration firm, headquartered in Bridgeville, PA. “The acquisition combines two complementary companies and creates a bigger, more sophisticated systems integrator,” says Ron Petnuch, president of Intertech Security. “The two companies combined revenues for 2013 were $41 million — which places Intertech in the top 20 companies based on the SDM Top Systems Integrators Report.” Customers will benefit from a more formidable line-up of products, people, experience and capabilities. Intertech’s expertise in integrated security systems combined with Accent ESI’s expertise in fire systems, sound systems, networks, audio visual and intercom systems provides additional opportunities and products for Intertech’s growing customer base in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland, Florida and Texas.
