ISC provides corporate security for Club Wembley and conference, and banqueting security at events
ISC’s permanent security team will continue to provide Wembley with 24/7 integrity and full building security

Integrated Security Consultants Ltd (ISC) has been retained as lead provider of security services to Britain’s flagship sporting and cultural venue, Wembley Stadium, for a further five years. The venue’s operator, Wembley National Stadium Limited (WNSL), has renewed ISC’s role following over four years of successful development and investment in the 90,000 capacity stadium by the security provider, which first won the contract in a 2009 competitive tender.

ISC’s Permanent Security Team, headed by ISC’s Head of Operations Bob Milnes, will continue to provide Wembley with 24/7 integrity and full building security. The company also provides corporate security for Club Wembley and conference and banqueting security at events, which welcome up to 10,000 people. As part of the contract ISC managing director Pat Carr remains Wembley Stadium’s operational planning consultant and part of the senior crowd safety team. ISC managers also undertake key roles at matches and major events, such as response team managers, safety officers, pitch security, corporate and VIP area security, customer services teams and stadium announcers.

ISC’s operational duties at Wembley range from site patrols and monitoring CCTV to ensuring the Stadium’s environmental ‘switch-off’ policy is being adhered to. As the first point of contact for visitors, the company’s security officers place customer service at the forefront of their duties. ISC provides 24-hour security, 365 days a year, liaising with the Metropolitan Police, Brent Council and WNSL Ltd to ensure the integrity of the venue and its patrons.

The success reflects Carr’s own broad range of experience at Wembley Stadium, where he started back in 1988 as a parking lot barrier attendant, rising rapidly to become senior security operations manager in 1994. In 2005, as head of ISC, he wrote security documentation and protocols for the venue, and assessed and trained its senior crowd safety team.

“We believe WNSL has extended our contract because the management team and work force have a distinguished track record in helping the National Stadium deliver world class events and welcoming the biggest names in sport and music,” says Carr. “We have totally integrated with the Wembley management team to the extent that our team is perceived as an internal department of the National Stadium. ISC’s senior management has proven its expertise in delivering a service fit for this iconic venue and we are proud to have been awarded the extension of the Wembley contract. We look forward to building on the strengths of this partnership.”

ISC provides premium security services to a wide range of clients in the sports, corporate events, conference and live music worlds. Clients include the USA’s National Football League (NFL), The Football Association (FA), Wembley National Stadium, M&C Saatchi, Rolex, BMW, UEFA, The Natural History Museum, The National Museum of Science and Industry and Harlequins Rugby Club.
