| Lumidigm sensors offer accurate fingerprint reads even in harsh environments |
Lumidigm announced that through its close partnership with IdentyTech Solutions Ltd., its exclusive distributor in Israel, Lumidigm is providing high security biometric solutions for organizations in Israel, the European Union, the United Kingdom, India and other countries throughout the world where organizations need reliable biometrics. With multispectral imaging technology, Lumidigm sensors use multiple spectrums of light and advanced polarisation techniques to extract unique fingerprint characteristics from both the surface and subsurface of the skin to assure accurate fingerprint reads even in harsh environments.
"Throughout Israel, IdentyTech terminals and related automated identity solutions with integrated Lumidigm fingerprint sensors are being used in a full array of projects with government agencies responsible for automated passenger processing at sea, land and air crossings and other citizen registration applications," attests Ephram Yeashoua, IdentyTech president & CEO. IdentyTech will be exhibiting its products, including two new readers, the modular IDT Access and the IDT Wallmount, a full identification centre in a terminal based on a secured embedded solution that can operate as a standalone solution or as part of a enterprise-wide network in the Lumidigm booth #200 at the Biometrics Exhibition and Conference to be held October 19-20 at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in Westminster, London.
