Hikvision Digital Technology Co., Ltd., the leading supplier of digital video surveillance products, has been appointed as the general contractor of a safe city program for Chongqing, one of the municipalities in China which covers an area of 82,400 square kilometers with a population of more than 31,500,000. This system is expected to set up over 500,000 video surveillance points in Chongqing to create a secured environment for the city.
