In Holland, Maat Transport is the first company that is offering a high secure Truck Parking for regular clients and trucks passing by.  Recently, an IP surveillance solution with ACTi hardware was deployed in this transportation company.

As an experienced company in the world of logistics and transportation, Maat is aware of the big problems with stolen cargo and therefore saw the need in building this automated truck parking.  In order to make the parking profitable, the parking is unmanned.  Consequently, there was a need for high security and highly integrated automation.

The project was initially proposed as a conventional DVR / analog system.  However, after XSerius understanding the requirements of Maat truck parking, it soon became clear that a complete IP based security system is the best solution as it offered many advantages in system flexibility and specific functionalities for the truck parking application particularly.

Maat Truck Parking is satisfied with the security system benefits.  The Truck parking management is completely remote and its systems are fully monitored by XSerius Maxsimize services together with the View Control Alarm Control Centre.
