Sanyo launches professional security network camera series with H.264/MJPEG dual codecs

SANYO North America Corporation (SANYO) recently announced its 2009 line-up of nine new HD surveillance cameras that offer up to 4MP MJPEG and Full High Definition (HD) video for critical security monitoring. The world's first complete line-up of Full HD 1080p and full frame rate compatible network cameras with multi-streaming H.264 and MJPEG codecs includes four different form factors: Box, Dome, Zoom , and PTZ .

The nine new cameras expand the SANYO industry-leading family of security video products that are driving high-definition into CCTV. The growing demand for high quality HD video in the security industry has created the need for HD cameras in various configurations.
