| The GOVIES awards honor outstanding government security products in a variety of categories |
Pelco by Schneider Electric is proud to announce that the company’s Digital Sentry DSSRV2 NVR product has received a Platinum Award within the Video Security Management category, from the 2015 GOVIES Government Security Awards competition.
Criteria For Winning
According to competition management, an independent panel of judges from the security industry selected the top entries in the 2015 categories and named the winners based on criteria including Features, Innovation, User Friendliness, Interoperability, Quality, Design, Market Opportunity, Technical Advances, Scalability, and Impact in the Security Industry.
Specifically, the Pelco Digital Sentry NVR is recognized for its compliance with the Defense Information Assurance Risk Management Framework (DIARMF), a critical compliance for Department of Defense applications where Information Assurance is required.
“Pelco has been a strong and enthusiastic supporter of the DoD information assurance initiative for several years,” said Kevin Carpenter, Senior Manager, Government Enterprise Accounts for Pelco by Schneider Electric. “This is a mission-critical requirement for many of our government agency customers, and we’re honored to receive this recognition.”
