As Security Partners prepares to open its state-of-the-art Secure Operation Center in Las Vegas, the national company announced recently it has acquired certain assets of 1 Time Inc., a Henderson-based, UL, CSAA-Five Diamond certified central station. Integration of two teams: The acquisition is a strategic fit for Security Partners, as both wholesale monitoring companies operate from the same Bold Manitou automation platform. The certified operators from 1 Time Inc. will fit well with the team that Security Partners has assembled to run its secure operation center, opening in the beginning of April. “1 Time Inc. has built a first-class operation, based upon honesty, integrity and devotion to personal service,” said Mike Bodnar, president of Security Partners. “And that is testament to the hard work of its owners, Don and Vanessa Blunt, who we are proud to say will become key members of our dealer network in Nevada.” Expanding dealer base: As part of the agreement, 1 Time Inc. will also provide its AES radio network and the critical infrastructure necessary to support Security Partners’ growing dealer base on the west coast, Bodnar noted. “Acquiring the assets of 1 Time Inc. adds experience and strength to our team of monitoring specialists, as we open our doors in Las Vegas,” said Patrick Egan, owner of Security Partners. “This is an incredible boon for us, as we focus on making our Las Vegas facility the crown jewel of our national network of secure operation centers.” Don and Vanessa Blunt, in a company statement, said they are pleased with the outcome of negotiations, and look forward to a long-term relationship with Security Partners. The couple will continue to offer sales, installation and service of fire systems in southern Nevada, noting they will be “proud members” of the Security Partners dealer network, and look forward to helping expand the company’s reach, based on quality infrastructure they are infusing with 1 Time Inc. resources.
