Mr. Sincock will help lead the expansion of DAQ’s historically DoD-focused security business into the commercial sector

DAQ Electronics, a leading manufacturer of SCADA and integrated security systems, announced that security industry veteran Christopher Sincock has joined the company in the role of Vice President, Security Business. Mr. Sincock will help lead the expansion of DAQ’s historically DoD-focused security business into the commercial sector through the establishment and implementation of a comprehensive go-to-market strategy and plan.

Most recently, Mr. Sincock headed Zenitel USA, Inc. as its president and previously held senior management positions with HID Global, ASSA ABLOY, and Lenel Systems International.

Mr. Sincock stated, “In my opinion, DAQ is the best kept secret in the industry with an unparalleled track record of providing outstanding security products and support to a very exacting end-user, the U.S. DoD. Now, we look to replicate that success in the commercial security market through the development of commercial sales channels and the establishment of strategic relationships with key VARs and resellers. DAQ has some exciting products including an easy to install access control system that utilizes 2-door PoE controllers and is native BACnet™ for ready integration with building automation systems. In addition, we have an enterprise-class integrated security management system that is ideal for the sophisticated VAR market.”

“We are excited that Christopher has joined our security sales team,” commented David Green, President of DAQ. “His history of success at some of the key players in our industry will serve us well as we transition our company into the broader security market. We welcome Christopher and look forward to working with him.”
